The Initial velocity of a car moving along a straight path was 0 meters/second. After 10 seconds it reached a velocity of 25 meters/seconds. Calculate the cars average acceleration during this time period.

given that

initial velocity of car = 0 m/s

after t = 10 s

final velocity of the car = 25 m/s

now for average acceleration we can use

a = (v_f - v_i)/(/Delta t)

a = (25 - 0)/(10)

a = (25)/(10) = 2.5 m/s^2

so here the acceleration will be 2.5 m/s^2
