In the following equation, a, b, c, and x are constants. In other words they should be treated like numbers. Solve the equation for y. SHOW EACH STEP!!

1. Separate terms in the following way (leave term with y in left side and rest terms write in right side):

by=c-ax.

2. Divide the whole equation by constant b:


y=(c)/(b)- (ax)/(b).

Answer:
y=(c)/(b)- (ax)/(b).
