we know that

The area of a rectangle is equal to

A=L*W

where

L is the length of the rectangle

W is the width of the rectangle

Step 1

Find the area of Mr. Nunez's lawn

in this problem we have

L=50 ft

W=35 ft

so

A=50*35=1,750 ft^2

Step 2

Find the cost of the lawn service charge per square foot

Divide the total paid by the area

(350)/(1,750) (\$)/(ft^(2)) =0.2(\$)/(ft^(2))

therefore

the answer is

0.2(\$)/(ft^(2))
