formula for \: distance \\ \sqrt{(x - x) {}^(2) + (y - y ) {}^(2) } \\ \sqrt{((2 - ( - 6)) {}^(2) + (10 - ( - 7)) {}^(2) } \\ \sqrt{( {8}^(2) ) + ({17}^(2) )} \\ = 8 + 17 \\ = 25

Use the distance formula D= sqrt x2-x1^2+y2-y1 = sqrt. (-6-2)^2+(-7-10)^2 =(sqrt (-6-2)^2-7-10)^2 =(8-7-10)^2 =81
