we get,

4x² = 16

Dividing by 4 on both sides

x² = 4

x = √4

x = 2

Substitute the value of x in any equation to get the value of y

( 2 )² - 3y² = 1

4 - 3y² = 1

-3y² = -3

y² = 1

y = 1
