Scout and Jim are really innocent kids who are trying to understand the way the world works around them. They often roleplay the life of Boo Radley since they had no clue of his true identity. They try to understand the world through the lenses of their imagination. They were raised by both Atticus who was a single father and their black maid. THey are respectful to both black and white people and like their father, they were colorblind in a sense that race is not the basis of their evaluation of a person.
