In the first quarter, Owen passed the football 14 yards, 1 foot, 7 inches

On his second pass, he threw it 16 yards, 2 feet, 9 inches.

To find how far he pass the football altogether we add both the passes:

(14 yards, 1 foot, 7 inches) + (16 yards, 2 feet, 9 inches)

=30 yards, 3 Feet, 16 inches

We know,

1 Yard = 3 Feet

1 Foot = 12 inch

Now convert (30 yards, 3 Feet, 16 inches) into larger units:

31 yards, 1 foot, 4 inches

So that,

Answer : (C) 31 yards, 1 foot, 4 inches
