Say its x component has a value of -15, and its y component also has a value of -15. what's the magnitude of this vector? what angle does it make with the positive x-axis?

Magnitude = sqrt ( (-15)^2 + (-15)^2)

= sqrt 450 = 21.21 to nearest hundredth

Angle it makes with the positive x axis = arctan (-15/-15)

= 180 + 45

= 225 degrees answer
