Altitude = Sqrt (14 x 8) = 10.583

DF/EF = DG/EG

6/EF = 4/9

EF = 13.5 in long.

In triangle QRS, XY is parallel to SR.

SX/XQ = RY/YQ

3/2x = 4.5/7.5

9x = 22.5

x = 2.5

The length of QS

= SX + 2x

= 3 + 5
