solution:

AT + TL = AL


3x + 1 + 15 = 7x + 1


15 = 4x


x = 15/4


AT=3*(15)/(4)+1\\</p><p>(49)/(4)=12.25\\</p><p>AL=7*(15)/(4)+1=(109)/(4)\\</p><p>27.25
