If n represents a number, then write an expression for the difference of three times the number after it was increased by 3 and twice that number.

"Three times the number after it was increased by 3" is 3(n+3).

"Twice the number" is 2n.

The difference of the first expression and the second expression is ...

... 3(n+3) -2n

(n +3) is the starting point.

So an increase in 3 times is

3*(n + 3) - 2n <<< Answer
