These sort of business with patriarchal and very strict hierarchical powers, usually exercise a very authoritarian and old-fashioned type of leardership. Decisions are made only by the directives and cannot be questioned but only obbeyed, and is much more likely that these are only driven by pure profit maximization, without taking into account possible negative externalities that their business exploitation can be generating for the rest of the society.
