Resilience or Coping Skills.

Resilience is how well a person can adapt to the events in their life. A person with good resilience has the ability to bounce back more quickly and with less stress than someone whose resilience is less developed. Building up one's resilience is key to being able to cope, live with and adapt to stressful or traumatic events that happen in life. It's the ability to keep going, fighting through adversity. Resilience is a type of coping skill. Coping skills are learned abilities that again help us to deal with negative but also positive events or circumstances in our lives. They allow us to find a way to deal with things that we are struggling with.
