A certain bacteria population is known to doubles every 30 minutes. Suppose that there are initially 80 bacteria. What is the size of the population after t hours? (Hint: Be careful with the exponent and the units of minutes versus hours.)

If an hour passes the bacteria would have tripled so 80 times 2 is 160.

If 2 hours pass the bacteria population would be 80 times 4 is 320.

I hope this helped you hon :)
