-{4}^(2) - ( - 4) ^(2) \\
So with this, the negative in front of the first 4 is not included when we square, so we square four, then put the negative back. But when there are () with the 4 and negative BOTH inside then we do include the negative sign in the square. After we do that we have

- 16 - 16
With this it's now simple math ending us with -32
