You have already earned $12 for your school by selling a pie you made at a bake sale. You will earn $3 more for each additional brownie you sell. Which algebraic expression models this situation?

12 + 3x
3 + 12x
3(12 + x)
12(3 + x)

It would be A, 12 + 3x.

The answer is 12 + 3x because 12 is your constant, the money you already earned, it won't change. 3 is the amount you earn for each brownie and X is how many brownies you will sell
