First some definitions just to be sure we are on the same page:

The subject is a word or group of words about which something is stated in a sentence. The statement is referred to as the predicate.

Verbs in the English language are a distinct part of speech which describes an action, an event, or a state.

A direct object is a noun or pronoun that receives the action of a transitive verb in an active sentence. A direct object receives the action performed by the subject. The verb used with a direct object is always an action verb

So, with that information:

They are speaking about Harry's father -subject

is (the only action word) is the verb, and

Seattle wealthiest citizen would be the object.
