-physical change is when a object or substance changes physically whether its size or shape but its still that same substance or object.

exp : cutting a piece of paper into pieces , you had a piece of paper but u cut into pieces its still that same paper but you changed it physically but cutting it an pieces.

-chemical change is when u change an object or substance chemically changing its atoms (u can say in a way) meaning that the substance or object has changed completely and is now a different substance or object.

exp: when u cook an egg the heat changes the egg chemically to form a different compound which was no longer the egg b4.
