If the hypotenuse of a 45 -45 -90 triangle is 13, what is the length of one of the legs

Note that in a 45 - 45 - 90 triangle, the side lengths are 1, 1, √2, which, in this case, √2 = 13

divide 13 & √2

Note that √2 = 1.414 (rounded)

Divide

13/1.414 = 9.19 (rounded)

9.19 is one of the lengths.
