PLS PLS PLS PLS PLS PLS PLS HELP ME WITH THIS!!!!! It's DUE TOMORROW!!! PLS, ANYTHING SOMEONE HELP!!!!!

Javi has a bag of fruit containing, plums, apricots, and peaches. 40% of the fruit are plums. There 2 peaches for every 3 apricots and there are 50 pieces of fruit together. How many pieces of fruit are plums?

40% of 50 is 20.

We know that 20 of the 50 are plums.

below is just other bits of the problem

There's 30 fruit left.

We know that the ratio for peaches to apricots is 2:3.

If we add 2 and 3 together, we get five.

Five divides into 30 six times.

Meaning, we could have 18 apricots, and 12 peaches.

Add all of these numbers together, and you get 18 apricots, 12 peaches, and 20 plums.

18 + 12 + 20 = 50
