acceleration of the cyclist is given as a = 3.2 m/s^2

initial speed of the start is given as vi = 0

we need to find the speed after t = 2.4 s

so we can use here kinematics to find out the speed

v_f = v_i + at

v_f = 0 + 3.2* 2.4

v_f = 7.68 m/s

so after the given time speed of the cyclist will be 7.68 m/s
