How will you convert a decimal fraction into its hexadecimal form by a process of repeated division and repeated multiplication? You can write the digits to the left of the point separately. Divide the number by the base value until you get 0 as the quotient.

I think you have the wrong subject, but I’m pretty sure the answer is, divide the number by the base value until you get 0 as the quotient.
