\bf a^{( n)/( m)} \implies \sqrt[ m]{a^ n} \qquad \qquad \sqrt[ m]{a^ n}\implies a^{( n)/( m)} \\\\[-0.35em] \rule{34em}{0.25pt}\\\\ \left( 3x^{(2)/(3)} \right)\left( 7x^{(1)/(4)} \right)\implies 3\cdot 7x^{(2)/(3)}\cdot x^{(1)/(4)}\implies 21x^{(2)/(3)+(1)/(4)}\implies 21x^{((4)2+(3)1)/(12)} \\\\\\ 21x^{(11)/(12)}\implies 21\sqrt[12]{x^(11)}

Two simply the equation down to it simplest form is that you have to multiply 7 to 3 which is 21. For the exponents you add so it would be 11/12 which put it together you would have 3 11/12
