The formula of a volume of a pyramid:

V=(1)/(3)Bh

B-area of a base

h-height

$B=6^2=36\ u^2\\\\V=48\ u^3$

Substitute:

$(1)/(3)\cdot36\cdot h=48\\\\12h=48\ \ \ \ |:12\\\\\boxed{h=4\ u}$
