Samantha charges $15 to mow a lawn. Each week she mows 1 lawn on Tuesday, 3 lawns on Wednesday, and 2 lawns on Thursday. How much money does she earn in 4 weeks? Explain your thinking.

You would do 1 x 4 for the 4 weeks which would be 15 x 4= 60. Then do 3 x 4 for the 4 weeks which would be 12 x 15= 180. Then 2x4=12 and another 12x15=180. So she earns £420 in 4 weeks.

Samantha charges $15 to mow a lawn.

She mows 1 lawn on Tues, 3 lawns on Wed, 2 lawns on Thurs, making it a total of 6 lawns per week

First, multiply 6 with the amount of weeks in all

6 x 4 = 24

She mows 24 lawns in all. Multiply it by $15

24 x 15 = 360

$360 is your answer

hope this helps
