Length (L): 4w - 3

width (w): w

Perimeter (P) = 2L + 2w

34 = 2(4w - 3) + 2(w)

34 = 8w - 6 + 2w

34 = 10w - 6

40 = 10w

4 = w

Length (L): 4w - 3 = 4(4) - 3 = 16 - 3 = 13

Answer: width=4, length = 13
