what is the point slope of an equation of a line with the slope -13 that goes through the point (5,7)

The general equation for the point slope form is

(y - h) = slope(x - k)

Givens

given point = (5,7) from which

h = 7

k = 5

slope = m = - 13

Equation

(y - 7) = -13(x - 5) Usually the equation is left like this.
