What is the point of the poem "Girdle" by Connie Wanek?

The point of the poem is about heaven for pets where the author believed that if there’s a heaven for people, there’s a heaven for pets, too. The author had written a lot of “object” poems and that’s the reason why the poem started talking about girdles. From there, she continued her story.
