The difference is tha in algebraic expression, there are variables (ex. 6x + 3x) unlike numerical expression doesn't contain a variable; its just numbers.

An algebraic expression is a mathematical phrase that includes at least one or more variables. A variable is a symbol, usually a letter, that represents the value(s) of a variable quantity.
