What is the answer to this question ? 10=-x+3+4

The answer is 3. I believe it is correct me if I’m wrong

10 = -x+3+4

1) 10 = -x+7
2) 17 = -1x

note: if a variable for example, x, is alone, it is considered 1x.

3) 17/-1 = -1x/-1

the -1 cancels out so x is just a variable now.

4) x = -17 is your answer
