Question: -4x - 25 = 8x + 15

Steps

1. Subtract 8x from both sides:

-4x - 8x - 25 = 8x - 8x + 15

2. Then,

-12x - 25 = 15

3. Add 25 to both sides:

-12x - 25 + 25 = 15 + 25

4. Then,

-12x = 40

5. Then, divide -12 from both sides.

-12x/12 = 40/12

= 10/3 <-------- Answer.

Hope this helped!!!!
