With the articles of confederation, every state had one vote regardless of its size. National government wasn’t able to regulate commerce or trade between the states. National government didn’t have power to tax to fund a military. Articles of confederation didn’t have separate branches of government, they where missing a president. They lacked leadership b cause they were missing an executive branch of government. All in all the articles of confederation wasn’t a strong enough central government.
