|2x-1|=2x-1 translates to two equations:

2x-3=-(2x-1) and 2x-3=2x-1

2x-3=-(2x-1)

2x-3=-2x+1

4x=4

x=1


now second equation

2x-3=2x-1

0=4, no solution.

So only value for x is 1. Now plug in x to check if it works or not.

|2(1)-1|=2(1)-1

|2-1|=2-1

2-1=1

1=1

so x can only equal 1.

x=1
