Samples a,b and c have mass of 80 g, 12,g and 33g and volume of 20 ml, 4 cm3 , 11ml, respctively which one of the sample have the same denstiry

Answer:

Sample B and C have same densities.

Proof:

Density is calculated as,

Density = Mass ÷ Volume

For Sample A:

Mass = 80 g

Volume = 20 mL

So,

Density = 80 g ÷ 20 mL

Density = 4 g.mL⁻¹

For Sample B:

Mass = 12 g

Volume = 4 mL

So,

Density = 12 g ÷ 4 mL

Density = 3 g.mL⁻¹

For Sample C:

Mass = 33 g

Volume = 11 mL

So,

Density = 33 g ÷ 11 mL

Density = 1 g.mL⁻¹
