If you stacked Avogadro's number of pennies one on top of the other on Earth's surface, how far would the stack extend (in kilometers)?

A penny is described as a coin having thickness of about 0.019 m as follows:


Thickness of a penny = 0.019 m


Number of pennies stacked is equivalent to Avogadro number = 6.02 * 10^23 penny


Distance convered by number of pennies = 6.02 * 10^23 * 0.019 = 1.14 * 10^19 Km


Thus the stack of pennies extended upto 1.14 * 10^19 Km
