Calculate 15% of 200 first, which should give you 30.

Then add 30 to the original deer population.

200 + 30 = 230.

Answer: 23

Explanation:

The exponential growth equation is given by :-

y=A(1+r)^x, where A is the initial amount , r is the rate of growth and x is the time period.

Given : The initial population of deer :A= 200

Rate of growth: r= 15% = 0.15

Time period x=1

Now, substitute value of A, r ant x in the above eqn :-

y=200(1+0.15)^1=230

Hence, the population of deer in next year = 230
