the expression 9÷x is given. describe the value of this expression if the value of x is less than 1, but greater than 0.

This expression will always be larger than 9 when x is less than 1 and greater than 0. It will also get larger and larger the closer we are to 0.

The reason for this is that when we divide by a fraction, it is the same as multiplying by its reciprocal. Therefore, when we divide by 1/2, it's the same as multiplying by 2. Therefore the answer would be 18. Also if we pick a number closer to 0, like 1/4 it will be even greater. When dividing by 1/4, it's like multiplying by 4, which would give us 36.
