x/6+4= 15

Subtract 4 from both sides; 4s cancel each other out

x/6+4-4= 15-4

x/6= 11

multiply both sides by 6 to eliminate fraction (multiply by reciprocal of 1/6)

(x/6)(6)= (11)(6)

x= 66

ANSWER: x= 66

Hope this helps! :)
