Since we want to solve for the variable y, we want to isolate it.

y/(-5) + 6 ≤ 2 ⇒ Subtract 6 from both sides

y/(-5) ≤ -4 ⇒ Multiply both sides by -5. When multiplying or dividing by a negative number in an inequality, we want to flip the sign.

y ≥ -4 · -5

y ≥ 20
