Tessa keeps seven cards with the picture of a king and three cards with the picture of a queen on a table face down, so the pictures are hidden. She mixes up the cards then turns over one card and finds the picture of a king on it. She removes this card from the table and turns over another card.

What is the probability that the card Tessa turns over has a picture of a king on it?

Answer: Fraction 6 over 9

Explanation:

Here the total number of cards that having picture of king = 7

And, the total number of cards that having picture of queen = 3

So, the total number of cards = 7 + 3 = 10

According to the question,

She removes one king card card from the table .

Therefore, the remaining cards = 10 - 1 = 9

And, remaining king cards = 7 - 1 = 6

Thus, the probability of finding one king card in the another draw,

P(K) = (6)/(9) = (2)/(3)

Therefore, fourth Option is correct.
