Liquid
A liquid is a state of matter that changes itself to the shape of a container in which it is held, and which acquires a defined surface in the presence of gravity. It has no definite shape but it has a fixed volume in every container. This state of matter lies between solids and gaseous state. Whenever a solid is heated it converts itself into a liquid and when a gas is cooled it is also converted into liquid.
