it's a right triangle, you find the area, then you multiply the area by 2 and divide it by the base and you have the height.

12 * 18.2 : 2 = 109.2 m (Area)

109.2 * 2 : 20 = 10.92 (h)

Answer:

10.02 meters.

Explanation:

We have been given two right triangles. We are asked to find the value of h for our given triangles.

Using Pythagoras theorem, we will find hypotenuse of bigger triangle.

12^2+18.2^2=x^2

144+331.24=x^2

475.24=x^2

x=√(475.24)

x=21.8

We will use area of triangle formula to solve our given problem.

\text{Area of triangle}=(1)/(2)* (\text{Base*Height})

\text{Area of triangle}=(1)/(2)* (12*18.2)

The area of the triangle would be:

\text{Area of triangle}=(1)/(2)* (21.8*h)

Upon equating both equations, we will get:

(1)/(2)* (21.8*h)=(1)/(2)* (12*18.2)

10.9h=6*18.2

(10.9h)/(10.9)=(6*18.2)/(10.9)

h=(109.2)/(10.9)

h=10.018

Therefore, the value of h for our given triangle is 10.02 meters.
