evolution continues to occur,
Bacteria becoming resistant to antibiotics is a feature of a random mutation being selected for in the population of bacteria. The ones who survive antibiotics due to having a gene for resistance are able to pass off that gene to their progeny which leads to a grand scheme of evolution
