One may think of a lot of things. Electricity, plastic, medicine, agriculture, technology, gravity, and so much more! The scientific world has accomplished so much, and without all these advancements the world would be a much harder to place to live in. One may think of how hard society would be if we wouldn't be able to have medicine, to know how the human body works, etc.
