The quotient of a number, x, decreased by 4 and 7 is less than or equal to 2 or greater than or equal to 8. What are the possible solutions of x?

So this is our inequality:
2\geq(x-4)/(7)\ \textsf{OR}\ (x-4)/(7)\geq 8

Firstly, multiply both sides by 7 on both inequalities:
14\geq x-4\ \textsf{OR}\ x-4\geq 56

Next, add 4 on both sides of both inequalities and your answer will be
18\geq x\ \textsf{OR}\ x\geq 60
