The hundredths place is the the second number to the right of the decimal so as a decimal you would write it like this:

0.45
To write it simply as a fraction, it looks like this:

(45)/(100)
But if you want to simplify it you need to find a least common multiple of both the denominator and numerator. In this case I would choose 5. Divide both the numerator and the denominator by that number.

(9)/(20)
