7x+3+6x+11 can u give a example of how to solve it

Ok, so the first thing you should do is collect like-terms.


7x+3+6x+11

Combine 7x and 6x ---> You'll get 13x.


So it'll be 13x + 3 + 11

Now you'll combine 3 + 11 and you'll get 14.

The answer should be 13x + 14

Combine like terms.

Since 7x and 6x both have a variable of x, you can combine them.


7x + 6x = 13x

After that, you are left with:


13x + 11 + 3

You also have two numbers without variables; 11 and 3. You can also combine those.


11 + 3 = 14

So, your final answer would be:


13x + 14
