a_n=a_1+(n-1)d\\\\ d=-2\\ a_1=12\\\\ a_n=12+(n-1)\cdot(-2)\\a_n=12-2n+2\\ \boxed{a_n=-2n+14}

a_(n) = a₁ + d(n - 1) ; a₁ is the first term and d is the difference

= 12 -2(n - 1)

= 12 -2n +2

= 14 -2n

Answer: 14 - 2n
