100 + 100 + 75 - 5 = 270 m. 270 meters of fence for the three sides without the arena. Assuming the car park is a parallelogram, the side with the arena is 75 m going through the arena. Subtract the diameter, 50 m, from 75. 25 m of fense on the arena's side.

270 + 25 = 295 m. That should be your answer.

Step One

Begin by figuring out the amount of fencing without considering the gate or the arena. We'll think about them later.

The perimeter = 2*(L + W)

L = 100 m

W = 75 m

P = 2(100 + 75)

P = 350 That would be the amount needed without the arena and the gate.

Step Two

Find the value for the Arena and the Gate. You only have to think about doing both of them once.

Total = Arena + Gate

Total = 50 + 5

Total = 55

Step Three

Find out the needed amount of fencing.

Needed amount of fencing = Fence needed without the two minus amounts - the two minus amounts

Needed amount of fencing = 350 - 55 = 295 for the amount of fencing.
