Firstly, multiply both sides by pq:
pqx=p-q

Next, add q onto both sides of the equation:
pqx+q=p

Next, factor out q:
q(px+1)=p

Lastly, divide both sides by (px+1) and your answer will be
q=(p)/(px+1)
